Amazon S3 Storage
The following details describe access and administration of assets hosted in Amazon’s cloud.
Account Access
CMP-IT administers AWS accounts. Specific CMOA users have access to a shared CMP account as well as a dedicated CMOA account. The CMOA account is new as of 2021. To improve billing and administration, all services should migrate to the museum specific account. See 1Password for details or contact webmaster@cmoa.org.
Storage
Go to: Services > Storage > S3
Permissions
File permissions need to be set for files to be accessible to the public. AWS changed the interface recently so details are TBD.
