Word Docs
Microsoft Word is a commonly-used application among individuals with a variety of disabilities, and is reasonably accessible. But much like PDF’s, the task of making documents accessible is still demanding and requires knowledge and expertise.
Like any accessible document, follow best practice and be sure to:
Use Headings
Use Lists
Add Alternative Text to Images
Identify Document Language
Use Tables Wisely and Correctly
